Because of this each one of us can maintain our environment free from pollution which are highly caused due to production of electricity through non-renewable energies like Coal, etc.,

Stand-alone Solar Power is one of the best solutions for operating small cold storage system in rural areas where there is certain limitation of power load. Solar energy-based refrigeration system is quite relevant to Indian weather because India is blessed with a good amount of solar energy in most parts of the country, throughout the year. This rich source of endless solar energy is the main power source for the Solar Cold Room built by South Pole Refrigeration and it gives us 24 Hours backup with no door opening.

South Pole Refrigeration Solar Cold Room is a Hybrid Cold Room designed to use throughout the year, even when there is no sunlight. This Solar Cold Room can be used with the alternate power source during the absence of Sunlight i.e. Electric Power and/or DG Power. Moreover, we can also set up a battery to store the generated power at day time & it can be used to run cold room during absence of Sun Light. But due to some cost parameters, these battery back-up options can be used for Smaller Solar Cold Storages.

The Plug & Play feature of this Solar Cold Room makes it portable. Being portable, this Cold Room can be shifted anytime & anywhere as per your convenience with no installation cost. Additionally, the maintenance is very low and there is no running cost while operating through Solar stand-alone. These characteristics make this Solar Cold Room best suited & affordable for farmers to earn more by storing their harvested products here with longer shelf-life.

Solar Cold Room Subsidy:

Even though the initial investments are high for Solar Cold rooms, our government is encouraging this system by providing Subsidies up to 40% to the consumers based on the certain schemes. We are also tied up with certain Government entities to avail these subsidies to our valuable customers & farmers.

All our Cold rooms like Walk-In Chiller, Walk-In Freezer, Multi-Commodity Cold Storages can be powered with Solar Energy for their operations at Day time with our special accessories.
